　　In the fields of poppies lay the dying soldiers.

　　麗春花地里躺著奄奄一息的士兵們。

　　別的動詞如屬被動語態(tài)也可以倒裝。

　　In the distance could be seen the purple mountains.

　　遠(yuǎn)處可以見到紫色的山。

　　主語如是代詞則不能倒裝：

　　At the top of the hill it stood out against the sky.

　　它背襯青天矗立在山頂上。
